Born in Nairobi, Rajesh is a third-generation Kenyan who grew up speaking Swahili, English, and Hindi. He pursued his undergraduate studies at Vassar College in the United States, followed by an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Between college and business school, Rajesh founded and operated a successful handicraft export business in Nairobi. Post-MBA, he transitioned into global strategy consulting and later ventured into the tech startup investment sector in California.

Rajesh has maintained robust personal and professional connections to Kenya, where he still has family. He is a committed supporter of several Kenyan nonprofits, demonstrating his long-term dedication to the development and well-being of his home country.
