As vice president of Global Sales and Institutional Partnerships, Chris Calvosa leads all sales and business development activities with an eye toward growing VisionSpring’s global impact.
Chris’s driving strategy aims to increase the number of VisionSpring’s partners—and their points of distribution—across multiple sales channels to drive sustainable programs that expand access to affordable eyewear.
Chris comes to VisionSpring with a wealth of experience in sales, business development, and marketing, particularly around bringing products and services into developing markets. In prior roles, Chris served as head of business development for an interactive technology company and led international sales for MakerBot, helping them to achieve 300% year-over-year growth.
Chris is native New Yorker. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Kenyon College and a master’s degree from New York University.
