VP, Global Sales and Institutional Partnerships
As Vice President, Global Sales and Institutional Partnerships, Chris leads all sales and business development activities with an eye toward expanding VisionSpring’s global impact by increasing its distribution of eyeglasses via multiple sales channels. The goal is to scale VisionSpring’s operations to distribute 10 million pairs of eyeglasses to low-income customers by the symbolic year 2020.
Chris comes to VisionSpring with a wealth of experience in sales, business development, and marketing. He is dedicated to bringing products and services into developing international markets. In prior roles, Chris served as head of business development for an interactive technology company, and also led the international sales operation for MakerBot, shepherding the latter to +300% year-over-year growth, earning President’s Club honors for his work. Chris is native New Yorker, and he holds a bachelor’s degree with honors from Kenyon College and a master’s degree from New York University.
What excites you most about working for Visionspring?
The ability to provide eyeglass that extend our customers’ productive professional careers by decades, thereby helping them to care for their families.
What was your first memory wearing eyeglasses?
I haven’t worn glasses before, but I can tell my first time is approaching quickly.
