"I love my job as a waitress, and had to work very hard to get it, cooking in the kitchen of a hotel for nine long years before finally being promoted.
The only thing making me unhappy after I was promoted was that I had great trouble with my eyes. I was afraid that it was just a matter of time before I lost the job. Every day I grew more nervous as I had to strain to read the menus, write orders and calculate bills.
